Are you open for in-store shopping?

Yes, we are open for in-store shopping as per Phase 1 of the Province's re-opening plan. Orders placed online and by telephone (905-856-7646) will be still be available for local delivery and curbside pick-up. We continue to stay updated on provincial and public health guidelines. We kindly ask for your patience and co-operation with all COVID-19 guidelines.

What are your COVID-19 safety measures?

We're committed to providing a safe retail environment for staff and patrons. We continue to follow the latest COVID-19 developments and guidelines for our region. As part of our safety plan, we've installed plexiglass barriers, a UV air filtration system, sanitize touch surfaces regularly, maintain active staff screening/relief measures, provide hand sanitization stations and limit store capacity to ensure adequate space for physical distancing. Please note, York Region and the Province is presently under Phase 1 protocols of its re-opening plan. In-store presence will be limited to 15% store capacity.

We kindly ask all patrons to abide by all public health protocols and recommendations including wearing a face mask/covering, keeping 2-metres apart and staying home if you're feeling ill or are advised to remain home according to the province’s self-assessment guidelines.

How does curb-side pick-up work?

If you’ve placed an order online, select the ‘Pick-up’ option for the shop location at 8099 Weston Road on the Checkout page. You will receive a ‘Ready for pick-up’ confirmation by e-mail once your order has been prepared. Upon arrival, give us a call at (905) 856-7646 with your order number and we’ll bring out your order shortly. If you’d like us to load your items into your vehicle, please ensure your trunk is open and that your vehicle is safely parked.

When can you deliver my items?

We aim to get orders delivered out to you as soon as possible. At the present time, in-stock items can be expected to arrive within 1-2 days upon confirmation of your order. Some delays may be expected due to a range of factors (e.g. inclement weather, available couriers). We appreciate your patience and understanding. 

Do you ship outside of your local delivery zones?

At this time, we are prioritizing local deliveries to our immediate local area and region during this critical period. Please sign up for our newsletter or check our Delivery & Shipping section for any updates to our shipping zones. If you reside outside of our delivery area, we encourage you to check with your local, independent art supply shop for safe online or curb-side pickup.  

I’ve been in your store but don’t see a product you usually carry on your site?

We’re adding new product everyday and thank you for your patience as we get our inventory updated and added online. If you’d like to see a particular item available online, send us a message via our Contact Us page and we’ll do our best to have it available.  

How did Soho Art Supplies start?

Soho Art Supplies opened in 2008 by Kay and Soon who started their first art supply shop back in 1999. Soho Art Supplies continues to operate as a local, independent operation with a single brick-and-mortar storefront.
