The white charcoal pencil is water-soluble and can be used to sketch and create white areas, adjust values or create highlights. Excellent for final highlights and for drawing on dark or coloured papers for dramatic results; you can also use it to apply patterns on dark painting surfaces, cloth, or suede, as a transfer pencil. It brushes off or can be erased from papers or fabrics with a soft, white eraser. It can be worked directly over black charcoal.
